On May 6, 2018 at the Performing Arts Center Atwood Theater, seventeen 2018 graduating Anchorage School District seniors were selected to receive $1000 scholarships from the Korean American Community of Anchorage.  Reverend Wonjae Keum, Deputy Consul General Kwon, ASD board chair Ms Starr Marsett, and Mr. Andy Kwon, president of the KACA spoke at the ceremony along with a congratulatory letter from Mayor Berkowitz. In the program, we had world #1 break dance group JinJo Crew (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jinjo+crew), and Martial Arts demonstration (Champ TKD, New York, and Korean Demo team).  The national anthems were sung by Ms Hana Min and the MC for the ceremony was Ms Esther Lee.
